Ask Dr. Math is a question and answer service for students and teachers. This Web site is a great place for teachers and students to find helpful explanations to questions that may pop up in class.

Web Math

Webmath is a math-help web site that generates answers to specific math questions and problems, as entered by a user, at any particular moment. The math answers are generated and displayed real-time, at the moment a web user types in their math problem and clicks "solve." In addition to the answers, Webmath also shows the student how to arrive at the answer.

National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) - The World's Largest Mathematics Event

To celebrate Mathematics Education Month the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) is running the 7th Annual World's Largest Mathematics Event (WLME). This year's topic is "Mathematics at the Fair". The NCTM has a GREAT 16 page booklet of activities which range from figuring out how long the wait for rides is to predicting the "popability" of different kinds of popcorn.
