First in the I’m an Engineer series, a comic-book style booklet introducing youth aged 8-16 to various types of engineering. Each title in the series features young Indigenous role models introducing their field. Join Siobhan Dooley and her young friend Mew in learning about chemical engineering.
The second book in the I’m an Engineer series, a comic-book style booklet introducing youth aged 8-16 to various types of engineering. This title introduces Haudennosaunee role models Oke Maracle and Haven Moses exploring the field of civil engineering with their young friend Wesaks.
The third book in the I’m an Engineer series, a comic-book style publication introducing youth aged 8-16 to various types of engineering. This title introduces Métis role model Robert St-Onge and a host of other engineering students exploring the field of geological engineering with their young friend Wesaks.
Extending the line up of engineering disciplines featured is I'm a Mechanical Engineer, introducing Lydia Brant. Join Mew and Lydia on a cross-country, multi-vehicle adventure in learning about the ways mechanical engineering is present in contemporary Indigenous Canada.
Our latest publication introduces role models Danielle Ouellet (Métis) and Nick Parcher (Ojibway), as they join Mew and Wesaks in a journey through the mining process. Mining engineering is about ensuring safety - for the people, for the process, and for the environment.
